Missional Church

Christians are witnesses. They are all missionaries. And their mission filed begins in their own back yard and scatters to the ends of the earth. There is no such thing as a Christian that does not actively share their faith. To be one is to live it and declare it, across the street and around the world.
As a mission minded church, we believe that deeply and it permeates all that we do. We encourage all who are part of the TDC family to minister inside and outside the church, boldly proclaiming the Gospel as they go, with great authority and passion.
As such, we believe there should always be 4 groups of people within the church: non-Christians, new Christians, growing Christians, and mature/leading Christians. If any of the groups are missing, then the church is not engaged on mision and has sidetracked itself in some way.
If there are no non-Christians present we are failing to outreach. If there are no new Christians, we are not sharing the Gospel and inviting lost people into the Family of God. If there are no growing Christians present, we are lacking in discipleship. And, if there are no mature/leading Christians continually added to the ranks at the forefront, then we are simply moving closer to extinction.
As, people move throught the ranks of the church, growing closer to Christ and moving toward leadership, if the church is truly missional, more will come behind them. As more people are mision-minded, more lost people will be reached with the gospel and become new Christians who start to grow...
